Ravi Shankar Kadambala is a Camera Engineer with extensive expertise in XR/AR/IOT/Mobile Camera. With over 12 years of work experience in embedded software development, including 10 years in Camera software/driver development at Qualcomm and 2 years in Video analytics and Computer vision at Silvan Innovation Labs, he has made significant contributions to the Camera features of various Blackberry10, Windows phone 7/8/Blue, BMP phones at Qualcomm. Ravi has received a Super Qualstar and many Qualstars for his contributions. Ravi is working on Next-generation Cameras and software for Extended reality and Virtual reality. He has a good understanding of MIPI decoder/ CAMIF/ISPIF modules in Qualcomm ISP and experience in working with various sensor vendors to integrate the Sensor Solution. Ravi has a good understanding of Nonvolatile memory map (WB/AF/Lens Shading OTP) in CMOS sensor and Implementation to Qualcomm ISP for better image quality. Ravi's specialties include CMOS - Camera sensor driver development (Bayer and YUV sensors) using MIPI -CSI2 and Parallel interfaces. He has 80% Image Quality Tuning and evaluation as per Qualcomm Image quality criteria. He has developed Autos focus driver and Focus Tuning as per the customer requirements. Ravi has also developed Camera Flash driver and delivered Preflash/Flash solution as per the customer requirements. Ravi has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has also completed his Secondary School from Kendriya Vidyalaya Srikakulam and +2 from Narayana Junior College Vizag, specializing in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
